Introduction

Image
Yes. I'm just another ordinary Photographer. :) When we're out of words, we show a photograph but here I am trying to put my photographs into words. I have a reason for this because every picture on this wall has a tale to tell and I would rather call this a tale than a story.  The tale is something that feels like a dream, fictitious and magical just like how I feel while photographing. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am excited to show you my world of Photographs that speak my emotions.

The Rang Mahal

Image
Introduction: This is a photo of a place called Rang Mahal, located inside the Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan, who was a Mughal Emperor. Layout: The Mahal in this picture is also known as the Palace of Colors. This picture showcases its rich architecture, with a mirrored ceiling and pillars adorned with beautiful floral designs and colorful detailing. This Mahal is constructed entirely of marble. Tale: During my stay in Delhi, I visited multiple places, but one, in particular, had an intriguing story. While there are many Mahals and Palaces inside the Red Fort, Rang Mahal caught my eye. The Lahori Gate is quite popular, but this one often goes unnoticed. It was exclusively built for women, specifically for the females of the Royal family to rest. Inside the Mahal, there is a shallow canal that flows down onto the marble floor. The royal women used this canal to cool off during the scorching summer months. I found it quite thoughtful that something like this was designed solely for...

The Switch

Image
Introduction: How can someone not fall in love with these fresh blossoms? I fell in love the moment I saw them. It's the season of sheer joy and vibrance - Spring. Layout: Bougainvillea glabra , commonly called Paper Flowers, can be seen in this frame. There's a huge sliding black gate with some cars parked nearby. I took this picture as soon as I entered the gates in Delhi. Tale: Long story short, I've been in Delhi for the last year, travelling back and forth from my hometown. Back in December 2022, I stayed with my sister in Delhi, and everyone knows how cold winters here can get! I had never experienced such a cold winter before. With the heater on, wrapped in comforters, wearing gloves and socks, I couldn't step out of the house. The short days of winter made everything gloomy. Our terrace garden was destroyed due to the chilly weather, and there wasn't a single flower in sight. And then, I left this place and came back in March. Spring had begun, and there we...

"Dusk till Dawn"

Image
Introduction:  One of my favorite pictures with my cheerleaders. 😊 The people in this frame are like family to me, which makes this photograph even more special. Layout:  This is a beautiful twilight silhouette. This photograph features four friends chilling and having a great time together. Of course, there's an electrical line in the frame, a common sight in photographs of Indian skies. Can you guess how we captured this picture with no one behind the camera? We started recording and placed it in a specific position at a particular angle. We were simply living in the moment and let the camera do its magic. After recording the entire video, we selected some screenshots from it, and the above picture is one of those. Tale:  Sunsets and soulmates, what more do I need? I have a reason to name this picture "Dusk till Dawn" because we were up from dusk till dawn, doing what we do best... having fun. Yes, it was a girls' sleepover. We hadn't seen each other in a lon...
